N-able rebrands RMM as N-sight – targeting IT teams and emerging MSPs

N-able has relaunched its RMM remote monitoring and management as N-able N-sight RMM, with a view to attracting more IT departments and MSPs as customers.

Mike Adler, chief technology officer at N-able, said that the new N-able N-sight RMM would suit seasoned MSPs as well as those starting out.

“MSPs at varying levels of growth need the right tailored solution,” Adler said. “We launched N-sight to help level the playing field.”

N-sight complements N-central, the vendor’s RMM offering focused more towards large or mature enterprises. It combines RMM in the cloud with Take Control remote support and MSP Manager for professional services automation.

N-sight features and functions include remote monitoring and management with remote control plus ticketing and billing — a useful bundle for emerging services providers, according to N-able.

Multi-tenant Windows, Linux and Apple RMM are managed and monitored via a dashboard. N-sight also has no-code automation capabilities, including some 600 scripts, meaning less-skilled development teams can scale up more easily.

Patch management, mobile support, automated ticketing and billing, as well as a brandable customer portal help round out the offering.

N-able said in its announcement that managed services is a fast growing sector — yet growing MSP businesses profitably can be challenging.

“N-sight is designed to help MSPs conquer these challenges by enabling them to get up and running faster, and more easily and profitably manage and secure their SME customers,” according to N-able.
