Delinea recertifies its privileged access management for SOC 2 compliance

Privileged access management (PAM) vendor Delinea — formerly ThycoticCentrify — has completed Type ll Service Organisation Control (SOC 2) recertification audits for its products including Secret Server Cloud, Privilege Manager Cloud and DevOps Secrets Vault.

The Schneider Downs & Co audit confirms the company meets SOC 2 standards for security, availability and confidentiality trust services principles with zero exceptions. Privileged Behavior Analytics, Access Controller Suite and Account Lifecycle Manager also made the grade.

Raun Nohavitza, chief information officer at Delinea, said in the announcement that the vendor continually seeks third-party validation to guarantee the quality of its offerings.

“Thousands of organisations rely on Delinea daily to protect their most critical assets, data, and privileged credentials from a mounting number of threats,” Nohavitza said.

According to Delinea, SOC 2 Type II standards are about recognising solution value for devops and security teams. The company plans to continue integrating security and devops practices.

Industry-standard SOC 2 compliance is aimed at ensuring security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of customer data across solutions. SOC 2 reports demonstrate a company’s ability to implement critical security policies and prove compliance over an extended period.

The news follows recognition of the PAM company by the 2022 CRN Partner Programme Guide in the US and continued channel growth globally.

Delinea partners including VARs, system integrators, MSPs, and distributors enjoyed “substantial” growth in bookings for fiscal year 2021, the company said.

Bob Gagnon, channel sales VP at Delinea, said the results followed a renewed partner recruitment strategy, including distributor commitments to getting its solutions in front of partners and customers.

A low barrier to entry offers many partners within the community the opportunity to advance their place in the fast-growing PAM market, he suggested.

“Partners have been rapidly turning to Delinea to provide cloud-ready seamless PAM. There is a huge market opportunity in front of us,” Gagnon said.
