E-sign leader Nitro teams up with OneID to drive further digital transformation

Document digitisation company Nitro has partnered UK digital-identity provider OneID in a strategic integration that’s expected to enhance customer capabilities in automated e-documentation process management.

Filip Verreth, vice-president of product at Nitro, said in the official announcement that the OneID integration increases the abilities of organisations to know their customers (KYC) and work with e-signatures across assorted workflows.

“Nitro is the only solution that offers both identification in a KYC workflow and e-signatures with OneID, alongside access to a wide array of other digital identity schemes, setting a new standard for high-trust transactions,” Verreth said.

According to Nitro, the new OneID integration brings an “unparalleled” bank-verified signing experience to customers. In the UK, 97% of adults with a UK bank account have access to OneID real-time identity checks that use bank-verified data to secure digital transactions.

Nitro Sign Premium customers are now able to incorporate OneID into workflows, protecting e-signatures in a way that should reduce the potential for fraud, enhancing trust in documentation as well as the experience of users – streamlining the signing process.

Paul Sussex, chief executive at OneID, said: “Together, Nitro software and OneID are at the forefront of shaping a secure digital future for both businesses and consumers.”

Nitro was last month named an e-signatures leader in IDC MarketScape: Worldwide eSignature Software 2023 Vendor Assessment. The company already supports 67% of the Fortune 500, three million licensed users and 13,000 business customers in 157 countries, the vendor said.

According to Nitro, e-signatures and related digital tools can be a “digital transformation accelerator”.

For instance, Nitro can help users quickly create, edit, convert and combine order forms, or use pre-design sales contract templates to fill or edit client data, pricing and terms. Meanwhile, its sales and customer relationship management (CRM) integrations enable users to simplify and speed up documentation workflows, the vendor said.

Nitro Analytics can also quantify ROI and usage across sales teams, proving the value of equipping every sales rep with Nitro PDF and Sign productivity tools, according to Nitro, assisting departments from procurement to finance and IT.

“Forrester’s Total Economic Impact Study on the Nitro Productivity Platform shows how Nitro customers and their IT teams spent 70% less time troubleshooting and managing requests, compared to other PDF and eSign solutions, which translated into $85,107 (£70,380) savings over three years.”
