Perimeter 81 partner programme aims at cloud security innovation

Global channel news publication CRN has recognised the partner programme of Perimeter 81, a network and endpoint cybersecurity provider, in its 2023 guide for resellers and services providers.

Blaine Raddon, chief executive of CRN’s publisher The Channel Company, said the guide “spotlights” the vendors dedicated to supporting their partner community and pushing positive change throughout the IT channel.

“Solution providers seek vendors that can keep pace with their developing business and evolving client needs. CRN’s 2023 partner programme guide delivers deep insight into the strengths of each programme,” Raddon added in the announcement.

Rich Farbman, vice president of channel sales at Perimeter 81, said being recognised in the CRN guide was testament to the “hard work” the company had done in a short time.

“We remain committed to developing new tools that not only will push the limits of security innovation, but best serve our partners in the years to come,” Farbman said.

The increasingly dangerous cyber landscape had made MSPs and VARs more “valuable assets” as organisations look to protect themselves, he pointed out.

“When we developed our partner programme, we wanted to make sure those parties have a comprehensive security platform easily at their disposal that improves their customers’ reliability and resilience,” Farbman said.

Perimeter 81’s partner programme was launched in 2022 to help showcase its converged network security, ‘zero trust’ networking access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) offerings.

Teaming up with Perimeter 81, MSPs and VARs that can provide an entire security stack are positioned to grow their customer base, because in part the wider an organisation’s attack surface is, the more risk it faces, the company said in the announcement.

“Perimeter 81 plans to continue its investments in product development, with ideas that specifically have its partners in mind,” it said.
