iSpring expands multi-language abilities in e-learning course development

An update from iSpring Solutions is set to speed up the ability of creators to develop e-learning courses in multiple languages.

Nail Yusupov, product development manager at iSpring, said the iSpring Suite Max boost means that e-learning content creators will no longer need to translate and rebuild courses manually for employees located in different countries.

“With this release, course developers will no longer need to replace the texts manually on each slide when localising a course,” Yusupov said in the announcement.

“They’ll be able to export all the texts in a single file, translate them, and import them back to iSpring Suite Max with just a couple of clicks. The text will change automatically throughout the course, together with quizzes, dialogue simulations, and interactions.”

Yusupov said also that iSpring Suite Max can help course developers make fewer mistakes when preparing localised content.

“When copying a text from a document to a course, there’s always the risk of making a mistake: skip a slide, delete a word, or add the same sentence twice. Since iSpring changes texts in each slide automatically, this will help avoid such inaccuracies,” he said.

iSpring Suite offers a relatively non-technical approach to generating e-learning content for specific organisational requirements, including interactive courses, quizzes, video tutorials, conversation simulations, e-books and more, according to the vendor.

Customers include Microsoft, SAP, Boeing, Dell, Adidas, Procter & Gamble and the University of California at Berkeley.
