OpenText Cloud practitioners to skill up in SAP SuccessFactors by March

OpenText has rolled out a programme aiming to reduce SAP SuccessFactors headaches in the cloud with updated OpenText Cloud HR professional and information manager certifications.

Kristina Lengyel, executive VP of customer solutions at OpenText, said the Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors Cloud Learning Subscription programme — targets cloud users of the SAP SuccessFactors enterprise content management (ECM) system, widely used by HR departments.

All OpenText Cloud practitioners must complete the course by 1 March 2022, she warned.

“This is designed to validate required skills and capabilities to perform role-related tasks and activities at a specified level of competence. The certification also includes an annual compliance achievement on cloud policy to ensure proven practices on the latest releases are conducted,” said Lengyel.

Practitioners can work towards OpenText Content Server Business Administrator and OpenText Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors Business Administrator prerequisites before qualifying for the OpenText Cloud Policy Compliant Practitioner digital badge.

The programme combines self-paced and instructor-led modules in a “simplified” path to cloud certification for OpenText Cloud practitioners looking to broaden their information management, HR and cloud skills, Lengyel said.

Many organisations don’t have all the resources or expertise they need to manage cloud software deployments — even though most enterprises are probably using cloud services in some way or form already. This is fuelling demand for skilled cloud technicians, Lengyel said.

“Companies are increasingly leveraging the cloud to power modern work. The market for cloud computing is $371.4bn and is expected to grow up to $832.1bn by 2025, largely due to increased distributed work environments and the need for more flexible, secure applications, Lengyel said.

“Certified practitioners can demonstrate and validate that they have the foundational skills necessary for successful cloud deployments in SAP SuccessFactors.”
