Pay as you go for X1 social media e-discovery SaaS

Customers can now pay monthly on demand for X1’s enterprise-class, distributed data discovery and compliance software, with the launch of its flagship Social Discovery platform as a service.

“Legal teams want access to the social media evidence they need as quickly as possible, collected in a forensically sound way that fully supports authentication in court,” confirmed Craig Carpenter, CEO of X1. “‘Print screen’ solutions clearly fail the authentication test and simply don’t work.”

Making X1 Social Discovery available as a service means legal teams can access sophisticated solutions quickly and pay as they go, without the need for additional hardware or help from their IT teams.

“It’s a terrific choice for those who need forensically sound social media and web content discovery quickly and cost-effectively as a hosted service,” Carpenter said.

Potential customers include global enterprises, federal, state and local governments, law firms and service providers. X1 Social Discovery enables users to aggregate information into a single user interface from various social media platforms and web content in a legally sound way, preserving the chain of custody that supports authentication in the courts.

Users can search, review, and produce data within the application, or export it to Relativity or another review platform. Legal teams can now dive into data and isolate critical information and content or review online material.
