Delinea identity security revenues surge past $400m

Identity security and privilege management tools from Delinea have netted the company $400 million (£296m) in first-half recurring revenues.

Accordingly, Delinea said SaaS and AI in particular helped drive sales in fhe first six months of its 2025 fiscal year.

Art Gilliland, CEO at Delinea, said managing human and machine identities represent “the new frontline” for cybersecurity defences.

“We invested early on to lead that transformation,” Gilliland said. “Enterprises look for identity-first solutions that can scale with speed, simplicity, and confidence.”

SaaS comprises the lion’s share of its annual recurring revenues, the vendor confirmed in the same announcement.

Its first half included several “record-breaking” transactions and strong performance in the Americas and EMEA, Delinea said.

“This performance is reinforced by the enterprise-grade scale and resiliency of the cloud-native Delinea Platform,” it added.

Delinea aims to help customers managing complexity and risk to stay ahead of evolving threats, including by adopting AI tools.

More about Delinea identity security

Delinea has developed offerings around privileged access management (PAM) for highly regulated industries, such as banking and financing.

However, it has broadened into securing human and machine identities through centralised authorisation.

Recently, it also announced Delinea Iris AI. Iris is an AI engine embedded natively in the Delinea Platform, the company said.

Meanwhile, it offers Vault AI for credential governance, Secure AI for entitlement management, and Discover AI for shadow AI detection.

In addition, it has authorisation and auditing capabilities. The idea is to support “real-time, risk-aware access decisions and deep insight into session activity across hybrid environments”.

Stephanie Reiter, chief financial officer at Delinea, added: “We see strong demand for our solutions, driven by the urgent need to secure both human and machine identities.”
