Vyond software now has official FedRAMP authorisation. As a result, the public sector and government can deploy its video creation and editing software.
“We’re thrilled to announce that Vyond is now officially authorised to operate and list in the FedRAMP marketplace,” the team said.
Therefore, federal agencies and government entities can now apply to use Vyond for Government.
Because FedRAMP authorised applications must meet US federal government security and compliance standards, they must submit to continuous monitoring and independent assessment.
The Vyond for Government offer includes multiple templates, images and digital assets. For example, avatars and props for marketing, brand management and team collaboration. In addition, there’s AI enablement, the vendor said.
“Vyond for Government brings drag-and-drop simplicity to make video creation as easy as creating a slide presentation.”
Increase engagement with public sector and government applications
According to Vyond, customers can increase engagement by using its corporate video creation toolkit. Also, organisations can use video-based training to accelerate on-boarding, saving money.
“Anyone, regardless of experience, can start creating videos within minutes,” the vendor said.
In addition, Vyond regularly adds new content and assets to its content library.
For example, July 2025 saw new shapes added for frame-making or layering. There are also tutorials that explain how to use masking techniques to, for instance, crop a portrait into a triangle or trapezoid shape.
“Looking for a way to show a character from the waist up? Or seeking something that behaves like cropping? Masking allows for for an asset to be placed within another,” the vendor said.
Vyond is a brand of GoAnimate.
Companies can receive a FedRAMP In Process designation following security assessment, review and approval by the FedRAMP programme management office, working toward a FedRAMP authorisation.
Subsequently, a FedRAMP authorisation, or Authority to Operate (ATO), entails meeting a set of security controls aimed at confidentiality, integrity, and availability of government data.
“Thousands of federal agencies and government entities are now able to apply for a reciprocal ATO to use Vyond for Government,” the vendor noted.
