The Smartsheet work management platform is being deployed for PwC customers with a view to easing management of business transformation initiatives.
Eva Schoenleitner, vice president, worldwide partnerships, Smartsheet, said this was about improving how work got done.
“We help their clients build sophisticated project and portfolio management solutions that drive efficiency and clarity,” Schoenleitner said in the official announcement.
“Our collaboration will accelerate productivity and drive meaningful change for organisations navigating complex transformations.”
Consequently, PwC UK and Smartsheet will benefit “a strong pipeline of enterprises”, initially across public sector and financial services.
Firms can deploy the Smartsheet platform for manage larger projects, programmes, and processes at professional services firms like PwC, the vendor said.
So far, customers include the UK’s “largest transportation infrastructure organisation”, it said.

In addition, Michael Cooch, partner, global portfolio, programme and project management lead, PwC, said that organisations are under “tremendous pressure” to adapt to disruption. Also, they needed to deliver insights to help organisations make better decisions.
“In our latest CEO Survey, nearly half of business leaders said their companies won’t be viable in a decade without fundamental transformation,” Cooch added.
Therefore organisations could implement Smartsheet’s tools for structure, visibility and decision support.
“That can enable businesses to turn strategy into action confidently and at scale,” he said.
Because Smartsheet delivers features like dashboards, reports, forms, templates, workload tracking and more, organisations can adapt faster.
